How to receive financial aid from the government.
Just fill out a FAFSA form on http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
over the internet. From our own personal experience this is a very
painless and uncomplicated experience. You will need a few basic things
like your tax information if you are over 24 years of age, the names of
some schools you are planning to attend, and your parents or guardians
tax information if you are 23 years of age or less.
Once you
fill out this form the federal government will run your statistics
through their database and qualify you for every program they have
eligible. After that they will forward your information onward to your
state, district or territory and from there your local state, district
or territory will qualify you for its available programs. The FAFSA
should be filled out as soon as possible.
If you are
under 23 years of age or less then you will have to rely on a parent or
guardian to furnish their tax info. A few of you will find yourself in
a position faced with parents that are reluctant, stalling, being
overly dramatic or just plain refusing to furnish their tax
information. Don’t doubt yourself when this happens. You are definitely
going to get that information and we will show you how.
